About the Buffalo Sabres Alumni Association...

The Buffalo Sabres Alumni Association was founded in 1988. Today, we are an organization made up of many former Buffalo Sabre hockey players and since the start of our association we've had only one goal in mind; giving back to the community that treated all of us like family during our playing days.

In 1995 we established the Buffalo Sabres Alumni Family of Scholarship Program. This program is funded by the many events we do in the community. Each year, these scholarships are given out to deserving students in the Western New York and Southern Ontario regions.

In addition to our Scholarship Program, we are heavily involved with many other areas in the community. We support a variety of great charities and organizations just like the Breast Care Center at Roswell Park Hospital, which continues to be the recipient of money raised at our annual Sabres Alumni Fall Wine Festival.
