Charitable Initiatives

Building on more than a decade of experience within the world of professional hockey, the NHL Alumni Association, founded in 1999 is devoted to harnessing the power of former professional hockey players to support the development of healthy communities across North America.

We achieve this by bringing together former NHL players in community activities, with the goal of inspiring today's youth through positive sports images and building a better foundation for our youth.

Our community involvement is focused on the following areas:

• providing opportunities for greater participation in the great game of hockey
• support children's education, health and wellness initiatives, specifically those that serve the underprivileged, unhealthy or handicapped
• provide support to non-profit organizations that provide vital services to those in need in our communities throughout North America
